Lesa Chittenden Lim
Lesa Chittenden Lim (L.C.) is a painter and printmaker known for her luminescent, meditative, and mysterious landscapes that celebrate the beauty of Pennsylvania and northern Michigan. Lim uses her creative spirit to compose images that reflect the profound beauty of nature and our earth. Her paintings are inspired by an emotional response to nature. She frequently experiments with various mediums, watercolor, pastel, etchings, to achieve what her artistic goals.
After a successful career, managing a $500 million dollar division of a Fortune 100 company and being the President of the Lenox fine china company, she left corporate America to pursue her original vision. Lim received her degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA).
A recipient of many distinguished awards, her work has been collected by PAFA, the University of Michigan Museum, Woodmere Museum, Dow Chemical and Pennsylvania Power & Light, as well as numerous private collections. She regularly exhibits her work in Pennsylvania and throughout Michigan.
Lim teaches printmaking at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and painting at Woodmere Museum and throughout Michigan.
